it's coming up (almost exactly) on one year since i moved from Seattle to Brooklyn. much has changed for me, and i've got all sorts of new music coming in. but i'm just starting to rediscover one of the things about Seattle that will always stick with me...

i must emphasize again how spectacular Seattle-based KEXP is, and the awesomeness of DJ Riz in particular (though there are many other gems on show at the station...).

it's easy: kexp.org -> On Demand -> Streaming Archive -> listen to stuff. for my fave, just select "DJ Riz" in the "KEXP Hosts" dropdown and pick a show. if you have any music player capable of playing MP3 streams, it should work for you.

i get so much of my new music from KEXP and Riz in particular, that i can't stop myself from evangelizing from time to time.
