i enjoyed reading an article in today's NY Times about bicycling in New York City, titled The Wild Bunch.
the author, a cyclist, gave some glimpses into the recent history of attitudes/policies towards biking in New York City, and advocated some really sensible suggestions for cyclists to further their own cause and continue to gain respect and appreciation from other citizens and policy-makers alike, i.e. suggestions for more sustainable transportation options for the city in general.

tomorrow the school year starts, the summer ends, my work begins in earnest... soon we'll experience a northeastern fall.
deep breath... let's go.
here i am. i packed up and left Seattle on 6/26, and with massive help from family and friends arrived in Brooklyn the night of 7/3.

The artist has intended the images to be presented as a single image as well as in combinations. It is this juxtaposition of subjects that allows for a narrative journey through the city. The images can be mixed up and regrouped in a variety of combinations to represent a variety of cross sections of the city.
These drawings are available in limited edition prints signed and numbered by the artist.
